Here’s How to Fix Scratchy Sounding Guitar Knobs
My ‘92 Fender Jazz bass had volume and tone pots that were extremely scratchy sounding when turned.
To fix this problem:
1. Get some electronics cleaner spray, which should come with a straw to spray through.
2. Remove whatever panel you need to get to the back of the pots.
3. Find an opening in the casing of the pot and spray the cleaner inside using the straw.
4. Turn knob a few times from 0 to 10
5. Plug in to amp and test to see if knobs are still noisy. Repeat if necessary.
Schecter Omen6 repair
This guitar was pretty abused. The neck was cracked off the body leaving the holes stripped and a crack in the neck heel. It was missing a bridge, neck plate, screws, string ferrules, and knobs (owner had knobs to use so I didn’t bother with them).

I bought this Epiphone Les Paul standard as a repair project. It was a brand new guitar that got damaged in shipping so it still has the stickers on it. The headstock is broken right off the neck but the good thing is that because of the shape of the break there is a decent amount of area for glue and it fits together nicely.
